Economic Justice for the next generation

The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) and the Institute for Justice and Reconciliation (IJR) will be co-hosting a one-day national conference on Economic Justice for the Next Generation in Johannesburg.

The conference will focus on the economic participation of young South Africans, and the challenges they face in accessing education and entering the labour market. Conference proceedings will focus on the three main themes of education and skills development, access to the labour market and youth participation and mobilisation, and will include inputs from representatives of government, academic institutions, political parties, business, trade unions and civil society. These critical issues will also constitute the focus of the 2012 Transformation Audit, IJR’s premier publication on issues related to economic inclusion in South Africa
